Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Shadcn Search (the "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of our search, discovery, account, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using our Service at Shadcn Search, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any additional policies referenced herein, including our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you are expressly prohibited from using the Service and must discontinue use immediately.
Eligibility

Use License

Access and use our platform to search and discover Shadcn UI resources
Browse components, examples, tools, and related content
Save preferences, favorites, or other account-based resources where available
Use publicly available resource links and references for personal or commercial projects, subject to their own licenses
Access customer support and other functionalities provided as part of the Service
No ownership rights to the Service software or platform are transferred to you through this limited license. We reserve all rights not expressly granted.
User Responsibilities
You agree not to:
Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose
Submit, save, or share content that is defamatory, obscene, or violates any laws
Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or gain unauthorized access to our systems
Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
Use automated scraping, crawling, or abuse patterns that overload or disrupt the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

Account Registration & Security

Subscriptions & Payments
Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay any applicable subscription fees. Payment processing is handled by third-party providers (Polar.sh). We do not store full credit card details on our servers.
Billing Cycle & Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions are billed on a recurring cycle as selected by you. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel it before the renewal date.
Refunds
In general, subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or in cases of technical issues preventing service access.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with reasonable notice. Existing subscriptions will maintain their current pricing until the next renewal cycle.
Content & Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service, such as feedback, profile information, saved notes, or resource suggestions. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, display, and use it solely to operate, improve, and support the Service.
Third-Party Resources
The Service may link to or reference third-party resources, components, documentation, repositories, or websites. Those resources remain owned by their respective owners and may be subject to separate terms, licenses, and policies.
Service Content
All content and functionality on the Service (software, graphics, interface) are owned by or licensed to Shadcn Search and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
License Grant
By submitting content to the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, store, display, and reproduce such content solely as needed to provide, maintain, protect, and improve the Service.
Prohibited Uses & Content
The following uses are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination:
Submitting malicious, deceptive, or unlawful content
Attempting to manipulate search results, rankings, analytics, or resource listings
Using the Service to harass, bully, defame, or target individuals
Submitting content that violates privacy rights, intellectual property rights, or third-party licenses
Using the Service for illegal activities, fraud, spam, or misleading purposes
Interfering with security, rate limits, access controls, or service infrastructure
Copying, reselling, or redistributing substantial parts of the Service without permission
Using automated systems in a way that harms availability, performance, or other users
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any or no reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct harmful to us or others.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using account settings. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease, but you retain ownership of content you lawfully created or submitted, subject to these Terms and any third-party licenses that apply.
Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect (e.g., Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability).
Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability, or current status of third-party resources
Search results, rankings, and recommendations may be incomplete or change over time
Service availability may be interrupted for maintenance or technical issues
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including without limitation lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption), arising from or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in our principal place of business, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
We encourage resolving disputes through direct communication before pursuing legal action.
Changes to Terms
We may update or modify these Terms at any time by posting the amended Terms on our website. Your continued use of the Service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
